HARICOT VERTS

Haricots verts are delicious chic beans, just a little bit different from string beans and green beans. The haricots verts can often be found in more chic restaurants with a nice but simple decoration on the plate. Often it only needs to be dressed simply because these beans are already very tasty and crunchy. You want these beans crispy and firm on your plate. The cooking time to make the beans ideally al dente is between 4-6 minutes. Besides cooking, you can also wok or roast haricots verts. It's better not to eat this bean raw, as it will taste less good but it also contains toxin which disappears after cooking.

How to prepare

Wash the beans well and cut the stalk off the bean. (In some restaurants they leave this stalk set. You can do this yourself but you probably won't eat it anyway so you might as well cut it off now). The beans are immediately ready to cook. Nice to eat as a whole.
