Fresh.. yes ofcourse! If you throw my mangetout, sugar snaps and haricots verts together in a soato soup, the roof will come off. That's what they call a flavor explosion.
I like garlic and lemongrass, I actually put it into every dish. At weekends I go for spicy. Then I pull the Rawit pepper from the shelf.
