I call this crazy wild Morel. Or just Morel mushroom, what ever. Spongy with a spiky hat. Juicy and fleshy, with a nutty, down to earth taste. With one cup of Morel mushrooms you are at half your daily amount of iron. And about 1/3 of your daily dose of vitamin D. Calories? 20! The morel ihas a nice spice. Goes well in wild dishes, ragouts or sauces. Heat it before you eat it.
